Members of the WPLCO Association are volunteers with the Priest Lake Fire Department, EMS, food bank, and museum, attend church at the Lake, and are donors to the library, Memory Garden, and Firefest.
For the past 7 years the WPLCO membership has supported the Priest Lake Elementary School with funds for clothing, Christmas gifts, and computers, and this past year was a principle underwriter of the Missoula Children’s Theater production at the school (“Alice in Wonderland”, performed by over 30 Priest Lake Elementary School students.
The Association has been active protecting the environment with a successful campaign to halt the proposed siphon and has an ongoing collaboration with the Priest River Watershed Group to improve the fisheries of Lower Priest RIver.
Members are proud to be an important part of the local economy.
